President's Message

Our third FIRC of 2008 was held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at San Jacinto College in Pasadena and, as usual, was well attended.  We are once again grateful to the College for the continued use of this fine facility.

Our next event will be the Board Meeting on August 21, 2008 at our usual location, the Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Houston.  Items for discussion there will be our revised FIRC TCO requirements, Awards Banquet, September Activity, GHAFI website updates, Code of Ethics, and potential board meeting locations.

According to a recent memorandum from the FAA, FIRC Graduation Certificates will now be valid for 120 days from the date of issuance.  Previously issued certificates with the stated 3 month validity limitation will be honored for 120 days.
